A competition, a podcast and an interview

At Eventosaur, one of our guiding principles has been to live life and build the company knowing that some day there will be a movie made about us. We treat important situations as movie moments.

September 2016 has been a great learning experience for us at Eventosaur and we've had several movie moments. First, a shout out to the program that made most of this possible - NASSCOM 10k Ashok Madarvally and his team have been super supportive of us and their encouragement keeps us going. The Startup Karnataka program has several benefits and if you're a Karnataka-based founder reading this, please go sign up on their site. We've had the privilege of meeting the honourable minister for ITBT and found him to be extremely approachable.

                            The Competition

AKKA (The Association of Kannada Kootas of America)organised the 9th world Kannada conference and one of the competitions conducted there was the Business Pitch contest that we ended up winning. You can read more about the event here.

                             The Interview

The kind folks at SAVA360 (South Asian Voices in America) headed by the charismatic Atul Prashar interviewed us recently and via them we got to tell our story to so many amazing souls who hadn't heard of us. You can find the interview's first part here and the second part here.

                             The Podcast

Those of you who know TJ and me well know that we absolutely love podcasts. We listen to podcasts while cooking, doing the dishes or commuting. We also love sending Setu half a dozen podcast suggestions a month just to test how superhuman he is when it comes to managing time. The fact that Setu was in town had already made September 2016 a special month for us. Imagine our joy when we got to be interviewed together - for a podcast! Being on the other side of the...well, table felt great. Huge shout out to Ram from FoundersGyan for asking us all the right questions. For those of you who know us well, this is going to be a surprise because I'm not the most talkative founder this time around (I think) - listen to the podcast here and let me know what you think.

We routinely share our stories on our Facebook Page and Twitter account. Do follow us to stay abreast of more such movie moments. We cherish and love your support. More importantly, we're always a ping away if you need anything at all.
