Event Recap - Bengaluru ITE Biz YESSS 2016

read

As a NASSCOM 10k startup, Eventosaur has been extremely lucky in terms of opportunities to attend events related to startups and technology. TiE Bangalore and the 10000 startups team have been extremely supportive of us ever since we started up in 2015. Thanks to our association with these two august organizations, we got to meet with dignitaries from the department of ITBT, Karnataka and learn more about the stellar startup policy our state has.

One of the most amazing initiatives the startup cell has undertaken is the organization of this mega event known as Bengaluru ITE Biz. Bangalore is a city defined by its growth in the fields of Information Technology and Electronics and it is fitting to note that the government encourages growth and disruption in these fields.

This year, the Bengaluru ITE Biz was held at the gorgeous Bangalore Palace and attracted startups, mentors, investors, enterprises, startups and journalists from all over the world. One of the main attractions at the event is the YESSS (Young Entrepreneurs Start Ups in Soaring Spirits) program.

Among the dozens of eligible startups that applied (137 to be precise), Eventosaur was lucky to have been one of the top 6. This presented us with an opportunity to present before an amazing audience and spread word about our product and vision for the event-planning industry in India and worldwide.

Team Eventosaur

At the end of the presentation, the honourable director of ITBT - Tanushree Debbarma ma’am presented us with a prize to commemorate our selection. Shout out to the social media team at YourStory for capturing an extremely candid shot. Tanushree ma'am was pleasantly surprised that we won another business pitch competition, she was aware of our victory at the recently-held AKKA business forum competition which you can read about here.
