Those of you who follow us on social media platforms or track startup-related news from the state may be aware that Eventosaur recently made it to the winners’ list at the Government of Karnataka’s Elevate100 program held by the ITBT Department’s startup cell.
We are thrilled to be a part of the victors list and are indebted to Shri Priyank Kharge - the honourable minister for ITBT and Tourism, NASSCOM 10K, TiE Bangalore, and the Karnataka Startup Cell for all the support and encouragement.
While we were at the event, the honourable minister was quick to point out that ITBT wasn’t the only thing on his mind and that as the minister for tourism, the Mysore Dasara celebrations were on his mind too. A gentleman from Kerala in the crowd commented that his state was "God’s own country" to which the minister replied that Karnataka is “One state. Many worlds”
This got us thinking. A lot of friends and well-wishers have been asking us about Eventosaur’s expansion plans and we’ve always maintained that Bengaluru is the perfect home ground for all our experiments and that categorical expansion was more important to us than expanding to new geographies. However, Mysuru is home ground too.
The royal city of Mysore is decked and crowded during Dasara every year and we decided to sneak in with the other tourists and launch our services. As of today, you can plan several events such as Grihapravesham, weddings, Satyanarayana pooja, and Bhartanatyam Arangetrams as well as birthday parties in Mysore via Eventosaur. You can also book the services of individual service providers such as pandits, caterers, decorators, photographers, and party venues.
At Eventosaur, we love making celebrations easy and hassle-free. Hence, for the upcoming festive season, we decided to go one step further by making making gifting easier too. If you’d like to gift your loved ones our curated sweet boxes as gifts, we have home delivery options in Bengaluru and Mysuru. Check out all our offerings on our store which can be found here.
